2012 Legislative Session
With the legislative session already done. Dakota Rural Action’s Organizer and Lobbyist Luke Temple is back in the Brookings office and along with our committee leaders has been evaluating our efforts surrounding the session, so following years we can become more and more successful.
We have also sent out our annual Legislative Wrap-Up to our membership. Complete with summaries of all the major bills we worked on and how legislators’ votes aligned with our values.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to our legislative fund. Your donations fund 100 percent of our work in Pierre, so without your generous help our work in Pierre would not be possible. However if you have not given yet we’re still accepting donations!
Take a moment to consider giving a $50 gift that would cover one member’s travels to Pierre to testify or $500 that would cover one month of room & board for Luke.
