2012 Legislative Session

Dakota Rural Action’s Organizer and Lobbyist Luke Temple will represent the organization in Pierre during the 2012 Legislative session. We need your support to help pay for room & board, member trip’s to Pierre to testify and lobby, and producing the weekly Legislative Update newsletter.

Take a moment to consider giving a $50 gift that would cover one member’s travels to Pierre to testify or $500 that would cover one month of room & board for Luke.

Aside from financial help, DRA invites you to lend your voice to our legislative efforts. Last year, a number of committed members took time to write letters, e-mails and even make trips to Pierre. Nothing is stronger than citizens’ voices, rallying around an issue.
