MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND
October 20th and 21st, Dakota Rural Action will hold its 2023 Annual Meeting in Hot Springs at the Red River Rock Resort. This year the Annual Meeting is free for members to attend. DRA will also be offering travel and housing stipends for members who need it.
This year’s theme is: Forging new grassroots responses for a changing world. On Friday, October 20th, we will be joined by Drew Astolfi, Director of Field Support for the Center for Community Change will facilitate an agenda designed to identify the achievements and strengths of Dakota Rural Action and help us make some choices about the best “strategic bets” we can make for the future.
Friday evening we will celebrate victories including the PUC’s denial of state permits for the Navigator and Summit CO2 pipelines. Jennifer Wells, Director of Economic Justices for the Center for Community Change will be our keynote speaker.
