Brookings RL-21 Informational Meeting with DRA

Get the facts about Referred Law 21, which is on the Nov. 5th ballot and will infringe upon our local control. RL21 is being called a “landowner bill of rights,” but it is really a bill of rights for Summit Carbon Solutions, who is proposing to build a 2,000 mile carbon dioxide pipeline across five states, including South Dakota.

DRA members and staff will present an overview of the bill, including a history of how we got here. Join us, our hosts Lawrence Novotny and Cathy Hoss, and Brookings County resident Terry Pritchard at Good Roots Farm & Gardens to learn more about how this referred law will negatively impact our local control and our lives.
