Join the conversation and learn how we can make a difference!
Hosted by the Sioux Falls Sustainability Coalition, this community event is focused on how grassroots community organizing can make a difference in our world to make the changes needed to address climate change.
You will hear from several speakers, including Ivan Crow Eagle, Director of Rosebud Sioux Tribe Environmental Protection Office; The Rapid City Sustainability Committee, and the winners of a recent highschool essay contest on the Urgent Need to Transition to A Renewable Future – Why It Matters to Us!
Then you will hear opportunities to take action now with several community organizations: Friends of the Big Sioux River, BIN-Fluencer, and Dakota Rural Action.
Coffee and snacks provided. Come ready to have engaging table discussions and build connections through these conversations! This is a free event.
