Community Screening of Documentary “The Jungle”

April 16 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm MDT

To kick off Earth Week, join our community screening of the documentary “The Jungle”, a story of meat, greed, and profits in the industrialized food model. Unraveling centuries of greed and exploitation in America’s meat industry, this modern-day take on Upton Sinclair’s shocking 1906 novel calls into question the profiteering of ecosystems and reveals how indigenous knowledge may hold the key to creating an equitable food system for both people and the planet.

Light refreshments available at 5:30pm, with movie starting soon after. Following the movie, stick around for debrief and discussion. The event is on campus and open to students and community members!
