SD Local Foods Conference – Cultivating Community Connections

This annual event highlights the latest work being done to improve and promote local foods in our state and connects producers, consumers, retailers, restaurants, chefs, and resource providers from across South Dakota.
Hosted at the Journey Museum in Rapid City, November 8-9
Register on event website. Tickets are $75/day or $150 total

We welcome two keynote speakers:
Friday – Mariah Gladstone of Indigikitchen
Saturday – Justin Warner, a local chef celebrity

Friday will have two workshops available: one flower arrangement workshop with local flower producer ($10 extra), and a cooking class by Mariah Gladstone.
Opportunities to tour two businesses on Friday afternoon: Rapid City Catholic School’s Farm to School program or Sacred Storm Buffalo Processing Facility.

Social event at Diamond E. Collective Friday evening, 6-8pm!

Enjoy breakfast lunch and snacks, full of locally-sourced foods prepared by a local chef on Friday and Saturday.
Connect with producers and local food system supporters to instill hope, share knowledge, and take action.

This event is hosted by the SD Local Foods Coalition, a statewide group of organizations and stakeholders in our local food system.
