Our small family farm raises black angus beef, grass fed and finished. The cows are 100% drug free and hormone free and have been raised solely within our family since birth. We know where they come from, and we know what they’ve been fed! (paragraph break) We sell 1/4 and 1/2 shares of our grass fed beef. Shares includes a mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef and other cuts. With our help, you get to participate in the selection of how your meat is packaged and processed! (paragraph break) Our farm utilizes management-intensive rotational grazing practices. We move our cows to fresh grass every three days, and the animals never return to the same patch of grass for at least 30 days. This allows our animals to eat the most fresh vegetation, and allows our pasture to rest and regenerate, promoting healthy soils and healthy pasture. (paragraph break) Our third generation farm is located in southeast South Dakota with customers all over the region, including Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Yankton and all the spaces in between.
